Knife for left- and right-handers
The ORNAMIN knife is intuitive to use. Since there are no fixed handle positions, the user is free to choose how to hold the cutlery. Of course, it is suitable for both left- and right-handers.The knife is part of the ORNAMIN cutlery set (model 980), which includes a knife (model 981), fork (model 982) and spoon (model 983). All three items are optionally available with or without handle cushion.
No stigmatisation
The bread knife is designed to be visually appealing and non-stigmatising. In addition, it has various features that enable safe access and thus independent eating even with limited hand and finger mobility or a tremor. This makes the knife particularly suitable for use in hospitals, nursing homes and homes for the elderly.
If you choose the handle position, for example, so that the blade lies between the middle and index finger, this enables safe and independent cutting even with reduced hand grip or shaky hands. The rounded grip surface fits perfectly in the palm of the hand and the grip cushion ensures a good grip, as with the fork and spoon, so that there is a pleasantly secure feeling when holding the butter knife. The weight of the spreading knife helps to compensate for the symptoms of a rest tremor, among other things. The feel of the soft non-slip material ensures a secure grip and handiness.
Product with distinction
In the spirit of universal design, the features hidden in the cutlery set promote the user's self-esteem, as the supporting functions are not obviously visible from the outside. The high-quality cutlery set has already won two internationally renowned design awards.
