Your tasks: 
• machine setting of modern injection molding machines and associated handling
• detect and fix manufacturing defects and problems to ensure product quality
• troubleshoot equipment and peripherals and optimize machine parameters
• close cooperation with the responsible shift managers and machine operators

• completed vocational training as a process mechanic for plastics and rubber technology, comparable qualification or many years of professional experience in thermoplastic processing

From dual studies, compulsory internships, Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis to  scholarships (including the Deutschlandstipendium): together we find the right model. The spectrum ranges from regional vocational academies to universities of applied sciences and international universities. • Planning of a material flow optimised factory layout for the restructuring of a thermoset processing plant.
• Examination of the application possibilities of selected biodegradable or biologically based polymers.
• Analysis and optimisation of a merchandise management system.
• From ashtray to care cup – an empirical investigation of leadership communication in times of strategy change in medium-sized enterprises using the example of the ORNAMIN-Kunststoffwerke.

ORNAMIN trains. As a medium-sized family business, the training and further education of young talents is of central importance to us. • reading, applying and creating technical documents
• implimenting of machines, devices and plants
• production control and monitoring
• control of work flows and movement sequences
• differentiation and classification of plastics, rubbers, additives and auxiliary materials
• process for working and processing polymeric materials

The apprenticeship at ORNAMIN has a very special quality. In addition to the regular IHK education, we offer our trainees a full insight into the working world from the very beginning. This allows the trainees to organise their working day independently within their department, and to develop their individual potential in mastering their own tasks or projects. Whether it's advising customers in the factory outlet, preparing for trade fairs or online projects: Here, ORNAMIN trainees learn to take responsibility and make decisions on their own. They also experience a collegial, motivating environment.
