ORTISEI SKI SCHOOL

SUSTAINABILITY IN THE SNOW: ORTISEI SKI SCHOOL SAVES 16,000 DISPOSABLE CUPS

At the Ortisei Ski School, tea breaks are a regular part of the ski lessons for the young skiers. However, the use of disposable cups created a significant amount of waste after each break. By switching to a reusable cup system, around 16,000 disposable cups are now saved every season.

ROBUST IN USE

200 “Mini Moritz” cups from ORNAMIN now do all the work. They easily withstand the extreme temperature changes between freezing storage conditions and hot tea. They also handle the daily cleaning in industrial dishwashers without any loss of quality.

"The quality is excellent and extremely robust. Despite daily dishwasher cycles, the print with our mascot remains perfect."

A SIMPLE SIGN FOR NATURE

Since drinks are served within the secured children’s area, hardly any cups get lost. A powerful example of how a small change can make a big contribution to environmental protection in winter sports – for the nature in which our children learn to ski.
