SUPPORT FOR ONE-HANDED EATING The eating board is a thoughtfully designed eating aid for people who, due to physical limitations such as paralysis, injury or a broken arm, can only use one hand. Three raised edges keep the slice of bread securely in place and allow easy one-handed spreading without the bread slipping. A continuous non-slip ring on the underside ensures that the eating board stays firmly on the table while spreading or cutting. This provides stability and safety, even with reduced strength or limited mobility. When combined with the preparation aid, the one-handed eating board supports not only eating but also food preparation in the kitchen. Bread rolls, cucumbers or apples can be fixed in place and cut using just one hand. The eating board is suitable for both right- and left-handed users and can be used flexibly in any direction. The raised edges also make it easier to lift the eating board from the table with just one hand, without having to push it to the edge of the table. It can be stacked compactly for space-saving storage in cupboards. Made from scratch-resistant, break-resistant high-quality plastic, the eating board is food safe, dishwasher safe and microwave safe. This makes it ideal for everyday use at home, in care settings or in therapeutic environments.

EATING WITH ONE HAND This specially designed plate combines three supportive functions in one discreet piece of tableware. It enables people with limited motor skills or one-handed use to eat independently and confidently, without the appearance of a visible aid. The gently sloped base guides foods such as soup, peas, yoghurt or muesli towards the lowest point of the plate. A subtle food-retaining rim makes it easier to transfer meals onto a spoon or fork, supporting controlled and frustration-free eating. An integrated non-slip ring on the underside keeps the plate securely positioned on the table, even when pressure is applied while spooning against the rim. This provides stability and safety for users with reduced strength, tremors or limited mobility. All functional elements are discreetly integrated, allowing the plate to be used intuitively without any specific positioning. It works with any spoon movement and is equally suitable for left- and right-handed users. A tactile reference point located beneath the rim offers additional orientation for visually impaired users. Made from break-resistant high-quality plastic, the plate is dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe. This makes it ideal for everyday use at home as well as in care environments, rehabilitation settings and therapeutic facilities.

SUPPORTING INDEPENDENT EATING AND DRINKING WITH DEMENTIA Eating and drinking habits often change for people living with dementia. Creating a sense of safety and orientation during mealtimes becomes especially important. Clear shapes and strong colour contrasts help make food and drinks easier to recognise. ORNAMIN’s functional tableware has been designed with exactly these needs in mind. It supports everyday routines in geriatric care, home care and professional care environments such as nursing homes and care facilities. By making eating and drinking easier, the tableware helps maintain independence and quality of life for people with dementia. THE RED SERIES The colour red plays an important role in dementia care. It is often recognised for a long time by people living with dementia, helps improve orientation and may stimulate appetite. For this reason, the elements of this dementia tableware set feature clear red accents. These contrasts make food easier to see while also creating a modern and appealing design. SMART FEATURES – DISCREETLY INTEGRATED This tableware series offers more than just colour contrast. The plate and both drinking cups include cleverly integrated features that support easier eating and drinking. These discreet design solutions turn the set into a practical everyday aid – for people living with dementia as well as for caregivers and nursing staff. At the same time, the tableware maintains a normal and friendly appearance without the look of obvious “medical” or specialised equipment.

COFFEE MUG – LIGHTWEIGHT, STACKABLE AND DURABLE The ORNAMIN coffee mug is a durable reusable mug with a capacity of 300 ml – perfect for coffee, tea or other hot drinks. Made from high-quality plastic, it impresses with its lightweight design and everyday practicality. The open handle provides a comfortable grip and allows space-saving stacking – ideal for kitchens, offices, campers or catering environments. PRACTICAL REUSABLE MUG FOR HOME AND ON THE GO The mug is dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe (max. 2 minutes at 600 watts). The white interior surface highlights the natural colour of the beverage. Durable, easy to clean and perfect for everyday use. COFFEE MUG – MADE IN GERMANY Reusable instead of disposable: the ORNAMIN coffee mug is produced in Germany. As a long-lasting alternative to porcelain or disposable cups, it is suitable for households as well as cafeterias, care facilities or camping. Functional and timeless in design.

LID WITH STRAW OPENING The practical ORNAMIN drinking lid fits neatly inside the cup and allows controlled drinking. The small opening at the edge of the lid makes it possible to take smaller sips – ideal for safe and controlled drinking. A drinking straw can also be inserted through the opening and held securely in place. This prevents the straw from being pushed upwards by carbonation in fizzy drinks.

DOUBLE WALL MUG FOR HOT AND COLD DRINKS Cold coffee or quickly warming juice is a thing of the past. This double wall mug features an insulating air layer between the inner and outer cup, helping hot drinks stay warm for longer and cold drinks remain refreshingly cool. The thermal effect makes the mug ideal for everyday use at home as well as in care settings. When combined with a compatible drinking lid, the insulation performance can be further enhanced. SUPPORTIVE DRINKING AID WITH ERGONOMIC HANDLE The large, ergonomically shaped handle supports people with reduced finger mobility, limited hand strength or an incomplete grip. The mug can be held in different ways: with an open hand through the handle, by holding the mug itself, or by fully enclosing the handle with all fingers. An integrated thumb rest provides additional stability and control. Using an optional drinking lid also helps prevent spills, even if the mug is slightly tilted. The lightweight design makes the mug easier to handle when strength in the hands or arms is reduced. Thanks to its wide base, the mug offers excellent stability and is less likely to tip over if pushed across a table or accidentally knocked. DISCREET DESIGN WITH MANY PRACTICAL BENEFITS The mug is available in a wide range of attractive colours. The white inner cup does not affect the appearance of the drink and makes the drinking rim easy to see. Especially for people with visual impairments or dementia, the two-tone design supports independent drinking. All supportive features are subtly integrated into the design, so the mug does not immediately appear to be a drinking aid. This can increase acceptance and help maintain a sense of normality and dignity in everyday life. Overall, this double wall mug enables safe, independent and comfortable drinking – at one’s own pace and in a stylish way.
